Senior Accounting Officer at Radix Capital Partners Limited

About the Role

Radix Capital Partners Limited is seeking a qualified Senior Accounting Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position offers the opportunity to lead accounting functions and contribute to the financial management of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs
• Prepare financial analyses and reports
• Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Maintain and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with annual audit preparations
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
• Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
• Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
• Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
• Working knowledge of tax laws and ERP systems
• Adequate knowledge of Fund Administration and Management

• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and stress management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to train and manage staff
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
