About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a qualified Security Officer to join Shelter Setters Aluminium & Expert Nig Ltd in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our facilities, assets, and personnel while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergencies, accidents, or threats, contacting emergency services as needed
• Document all activities, observations, breaches, and incidents accurately
• Uphold company security policies, procedures, and local laws
• Provide assistance and information to employees and visitors
• Conduct regular patrols on foot and by vehicle
• Monitor alarms and CCTV systems
• Manage visitor and employee entry/exit procedures
• Verify credentials and secure doors and windows
• Guard entry points and operate security equipment
• Conduct security checks and inspections
• Manage crowds during busy periods
• Protect company assets from theft, vandalism, and fire

Requirements

• Relevant security qualifications
• Proven experience in a security role
