Core Responsibilities

Instruction and Lesson Planning

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Incorporate various instructional strategies in teaching
• Teach scientific principles in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science

Hands-on Learning

• Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations
• Organize hands-on activities to reinforce scientific concepts

Assessment and Reporting

• Assess and record student progress and attainment
• Evaluate students through assignments, tests, and grades
• Report on student performance

Classroom Management

• Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment
• Establish and enforce classroom and laboratory rules

Student Support

• Provide academic support and guidance to students
• Help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Professional Duties

Collaboration

• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects
• Participate in department improvement plans

Communication

• Communicate with parents and guardians about student performance
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences

Professional Development

• Stay current with developments in science education
• Participate in continuous professional development, workshops, and training

Extracurricular Activities

• Organize and supervise science-related extracurricular activities
• Arrange and oversee field trips and school events

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications
