About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a School Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom rounds and monitor pupils' personal hygiene
• Collect and safely store prescribed drugs, ensuring proper administration
• Supervise pupils during physical education and break time
• Administer first aid treatment to sick children and staff, and monitor any changes in condition
• Send medical newsletters to parents and guardians regarding disease outbreaks and necessary precautions
• Ensure pupils with communicable infections remain at home and require medical clearance before readmission
• Monitor toilets on an hourly basis
• Conduct thorough daily inspections of play equipment and playing grounds
• Inspect water dispensers and water bottles daily, ensuring regular supply of water refills

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Nursing or Registered and certified Nurse qualification from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting is highly regarded
