About the Role

The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of pastoral care and student wellbeing, with the ability to provide professional guidance that supports learners' emotional, academic, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group counselling to students
• Implement pastoral care strategies that promote a positive, supportive, and nurturing school environment
• Identify students' behavioural, emotional, or academic needs and recommend appropriate interventions
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student development
• Facilitate wellbeing programmes, guidance sessions, and awareness campaigns
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, Education, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in student counselling and pastoral care
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a school environment and manage sensitive issues with discretion
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
