About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Sales Supervisor to lead our Modern Trade sales operations in the South East region. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing team performance, and driving business growth through distributor networks and key customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate distributor networks across the South East
- Lead sales team members to achieve sales targets and performance goals
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Oversee new business development and ensure profitability
- Negotiate and close agreements with large key customers
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Perform research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team alignment
- Develop strategic plans for company growth with the aim of maximizing profits and minimizing costs
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs across regions in Nigeria
- Develop and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and progress reports to company headquarters, including budgets, sales growth or declines, and new business developments
- Provide the General Manager with monthly business reports in management meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years of relevant sales experience
