About the Role
Markfema Nigeria Limited seeks a dedicated Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and lead our sales team in Lagos. You will be responsible for acquiring new corporate and retail clients, managing a team of sales executives, and maintaining strong client relationships in the health insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Drive the acquisition of new corporate and retail clients across Lagos
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Present and market Markfema health plans to key decision-makers
Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise Lagos-based sales executives
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure productivity
- Organize regular sales meetings and training sessions
- Motivate and guide the team toward achieving collective targets
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention
- Resolve client challenges promptly and effectively
- Conduct periodic client visits and satisfaction checks
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze the Lagos health insurance market and competition
- Develop tailored sales strategies for different client segments
- Provide timely feedback and insights to management for planning and decision-making
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and conversions
- Ensure proper documentation of all sales activities
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in HMO, Insurance, or Healthcare sales
- Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of Lagos business environment and corporate structures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience selling health plans to corporate organizations
- Existing network of corporate clients in Lagos
