An established company is recruiting for the following position.
  • We are hiring a Sales Executive to join a fast-growing fintech company providing cross-border payment and foreign exchange (FX) solutions to businesses and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs).
  • This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with hands-on experience selling international payments, FX products, or fintech solutions. You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation and onboarding to transaction execution, while building a sustainable book of business in Nigeria and internationally.
  • This is a highly entrepreneurial role offering strong autonomy, direct revenue impact, and exposure to global payment flows.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Client Acquisition
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard corporate clients and HNIs requiring cross-border payment, FX conversion, and international settlement solutions.
  • Actively sell international transfers, FX spot transactions, multi-currency payments, and alternative payment rails to clients engaged in import/export, investment, remittances, and global trade.
  • Develop and execute lead-generation strategies through partnerships, referrals, industry networks, and direct outreach.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent conversion to funded accounts and transactions.
Client Relationship & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients.
  • Understand client transaction flows, currencies, volumes, and settlement timelines to recommend suitable payment and FX solutions.
  • Work closely with treasury, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of FX trades and cross-border payments.
  • Deliver a premium client experience through proactive communication, issue resolution, and transaction support.
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and transaction volume targets.
  • Educate clients on FX market movements, pricing, and payment structures to drive repeat and higher-value transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client performance.
Internal Collaboration
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and treasury teams to ensure regulatory alignment and efficient service delivery.
  • Contribute to the growth and structuring of the sales function; mentor junior team members where required.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within fintech, FX brokerage, or payments.
