Reliable Steel Plastic is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality steel and plastic products. We are dedicated to delivering excellence and meeting the evolving needs of our customers. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Coordinator to manage and coordinate our sales activities across the Western Region of Nigeria, with a focus on building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth.
Position Summary:
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing sales operations across the Western region of Nigeria. Based in Ibadan, Oyo State, the ideal candidate will be well-acquainted with the region’s major markets and will work closely with sales teams, distributors, and customers to meet sales targets, manage relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies. The role also requires the flexibility to relocate if the need arises, in order to meet the company’s evolving business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management & Coordination:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth objectives in the Western region, including Ibadan and surrounding areas.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team and distributors in the region, ensuring sales targets are met.
- Coordinate day-to-day sales activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Identify new sales opportunities, potential clients, and key market trends in the region.
- Market Development & Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners in the Western region.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and addressing customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that customers receive timely and accurate product information, quotations, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
- Negotiate contracts and sales agreements with customers while maintaining profitability for the company.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities in the Western region.
- Analyze sales data to track trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for continuous growth.
