## Title: Sales Bid & Business Development Lead

Job Summary

An established safety consultancy and solutions provider is seeking a Sales Bid & Business Development Lead to drive strategic business growth and manage critical pre-sales and contracting functions. You will oversee bid management, contract sourcing, vendor account management, and ensure full compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements. This role encompasses pre-bid project management across scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and achieve annual sales targets as determined by management
  • Lead and manage the Sales, Client Service, and Marketing team members
  • Develop and execute Strategic Sales, Marketing, and Brand objectives for the business
  • Manage pre-sales, client and vendor tender accounts and portals
  • Source, analyze, and manage bids and contracts
  • Oversee supply chain and logistics management, including costing, negotiation, warranties, and specifications
  • Coordinate quantity surveying, drawings, and government regulatory compliance certifications, approvals, renewals, and documentation
  • Develop comprehensive proposals, tenders, and contracts for engineering consultancy, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, maintenance, training, and related services
  • Ensure all deliverables align with contract standards (JCT, FIDIC), ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, client requirements, statutory requirements, and technical standards (API, IEC, NFPA/ANSI, ISO, BS and other industry-specified standards)
  • Coordinate technical activities for bid and contract process success, including technical defence and audits of installation and maintenance services
  • Collaborate with Engineering Lead, Projects Lead, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships, networking, and gather sales intelligence
  • Implement and ensure compliance with corporate document control standards, directives, and structures
  • Ensure company policies and procedures align with governmental regulations
