## Title: Sales and Business Development Executive

About the Role

This position is responsible for driving the firm's long and short-term goals and objectives through effective sales management, market analysis, and business development. The role encompasses strategic planning, sales organization design, team management, and customer relationship development across government and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales operations in government and commercial sectors, developing comprehensive business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls
  • Meet agreed sales targets and promote the organization's presence within the non-financial institutions sphere
  • Develop and maintain profitable sales relationships through motivation, counseling, skills development, and product knowledge advancement
  • Assist in developing the annual marketing plan, including realistic forecasts for each product and territory based on historical data, market trends, and competitive analysis
  • Establish, maintain, and expand the customer base of the organization
  • Identify and increase business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Maintain and increase sales of the organization's products
  • Manage accounts and key accounts relationships
  • Prepare quarterly and annual market update reports on new services, competitors, and business opportunities
  • Follow up with customers to settle account receivables
  • Work closely with other departments to improve overall service levels
  • Ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures and information security policies
  • Close all audit non-conformities within stipulated timeframes (MasterCard, Verve, VISA, and Internal audit)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
