Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Retail Distribution Manager to oversee and optimize the distribution operations of our FMCG products across retail channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods, managing third-party logistics providers, and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners to ensure product availability and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure optimal product availability across retail outlets
• Manage end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery
• Monitor and analyze distribution KPIs (e.g., OTIF, fill rate, stock turnover) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply planning teams to align distribution with demand forecasts and promotional activities
• Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers and transporters
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all distribution activities
• Lead and mentor a team of distribution coordinators and warehouse staff
• Utilize ERP and logistics software to track inventory, shipments, and performance metrics
• Resolve distribution bottlenecks and customer service issues promptly and effectively

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in distribution/logistics management within the FMCG sector
• Strong knowledge of retail distribution networks, inventory management, and logistics best practices
• Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
