A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for the position of Residential Cook. You will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality local and continental meals for a family, with a focus on authentic Akwa Ibom and Igbo cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

• Create diverse and balanced menus
• Plan and prepare high-quality local and continental meals
• Advise on ingredients and sourcing
• Ensure a delightful dining experience in line with dietary preferences and standards

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Igbo and Akwa Ibom cuisine
• Minimum 2 years of family cooking experience or restaurant experience
• Proven experience in preparing South-east and South-south dishes

Required Skills and Attributes

• Excellent culinary skills and food preparation techniques
• Menu planning expertise
• Strong knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
• Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
• Professional and polite demeanor
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliability and timeliness
• Experience cooking for high-profile individuals or events (preferred)
