Research & Development Officer

Position Overview

City Code Mortgage Bank Limited is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a highly analytical, innovative, and detail-oriented Research & Development Officer. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in conducting research, analyzing financial markets, and developing new investment products and solutions to support the organization's investment strategy, product development, and market intelligence efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research, economic analysis, and industry studies to support investment decisions
• Gather and analyze data on financial markets, competitors, emerging sectors, and macroeconomic trends
• Develop research reports, investment insights, whitepapers, and briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders
• Support the design, development, and enhancement of investment products including mutual funds, wealth products, and structured products
• Collaborate with the Fund Management and Business Development teams to create innovative investment solutions
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry changes that impact investment products and strategies
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify market opportunities and evaluate product feasibility
• Assist in portfolio review exercises, risk analysis, and performance attribution as required
• Maintain research databases, dashboards, and models for continuous analytics
• Participate in presentations and strategy sessions, providing data-driven insights and recommendations

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Investment Management, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in investment research, data analysis, product development, or similar roles in an investment or financial institution
• Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data-analysis tools
• Familiarity with financial markets and investment products
