About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Relationship Officer.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard potential clients within assigned communities
• Educate clients on microfinance products including loans, savings, and insurance
• Conduct credit appraisals, business assessments, and group formation
• Manage loan disbursement, repayments, and portfolio monitoring
• Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure loan recovery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular visits
• Provide financial literacy and customer education sessions
• Prepare accurate reports on portfolio performance and client activities
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Microfinance, or related field
• Prior experience in microfinance, banking, or sales (advantageous)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in the field and engage with communities
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• High integrity and commitment to client service
