About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to serve as Registrar at the College of Education, Igueben, Edo State. As the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible to the Provost for the general administrative work and running of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Chief Administrative Officer of the College and be responsible to the Provost for all general administrative operations
- Act as the custodian of all records relating to staff and students
- Receive, organise, and process all correspondence of Council and Management
- Serve as Secretary to Council, Management Committee, and Academic Board
- Perform any other functions as directed by Council or Provost
- In the absence of the Registrar, the Council may appoint a senior registry officer to act as Secretary
Required Qualifications
- Good honours degree from a recognised university
- Active membership in a Professional body in Administration
- Not above 59 years of age at the time of application
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant post-qualification administrative experience from a tertiary institution or supervisory body
- At least 2 years of experience at the level of Deputy Registrar or equivalent
- Computer literacy
Terms of Engagement
The position is offered for a single term of five years, beginning from the effective date of appointment, on terms and conditions as specified in the letter of appointment.
