About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our nursing team in a Registered Nurse position.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer all nursing procedures according to established protocols
• Implement hospital and nursing guidelines consistently
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment conducive to patient care
• Coordinate patient care in liaison with other relevant departments
• Maintain safe custody of patient notes and important records/documentation; submit reports as required
• Ensure safety and proper/economical use of equipment, supplies, and premises space
• Ensure "last office" procedures are properly performed
• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and relevant persons
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals; teaching patients, families, and friends about conditions, diagnostic procedures, medications, and self-care skills
• Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against care goals, and making necessary adjustments
• Resolve patient problems and needs using multidisciplinary team strategies
• Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies, medication administration procedures, and controlled substance regulations
• Maintain continuity of care through proper documentation and team communication
