About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse at Eastern & Western Hospital in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient symptoms and communicate findings to physicians
• Adjust and administer patient medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Massage and stretch muscles where necessary
• Collect samples and set lines independently
• Set up therapy equipment
• Guide patients through exercises where necessary
• Lift or move patients safely
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions
• Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care
• Inspect facilities and maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
• Sanitize therapy areas

Required Qualifications

• Valid registration as a Nurse with Physiotherapy knowledge
• HND or B.Sc Degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records Systems
