## Title: Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across the assigned region. This is a key leadership position where you will manage sales operations, develop talent, and build strong distributor relationships to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve set monthly sales objectives in volume and value for the assigned region
  • Monitor and achieve key sales operation metrics on a weekly basis
  • Coach and develop Medical Sales Representatives to improve selling skills and productivity
  • Manage distributor relationships effectively and engage distributor managers on proactive strategies to grow the business within the region
  • Lead the use of Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools to drive Medical Representative productivity and track relevant metrics
  • Leverage SFA systems to drive quality improvements and enhanced team output
  • Implement all sales and marketing activities as communicated by leadership
  • Drive the enlistment of new distributors and ensure product availability across key accounts using Medical Sales Representatives
  • Manage key relationships with important customers, influencers, and decision makers in the territory
  • Prepare monthly market intelligence reports on competitive landscape and activity
  • Cascade customer feedback to the Head of Sales and share best practices for business growth
  • Ensure timely submission of all required reports to line manager and Sales Marketing leadership
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently and promptly
  • Manage allocated resources efficiently and deliver strong return on investment
  • Track Medical Representative expenses and maintain strong ROI focus as a business leader

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Pharmaceutical Science or related Biological/Physiological Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
  • Established industry contacts and network within the designated region
  • Strong commercial skills with demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness on key commercial fundamentals
  • Self-motivated and results-driven professional
