Job Summary
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. As a Receptionist/Front Desk Officer, you will be the face of the organization, registering new patients, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
You will facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of patient arrivals, monitoring delays, and communicating effectively with both patients and healthcare personnel. This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations and positive patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Register new patients and prepare necessary correspondence
- Answer all incoming calls, take appointments, screen calls, and forward to appropriate departments or units
- Communicate promptly and courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face interactions
- Call patients and reschedule appointments as needed
- Provide information to clients regarding services offered by the organization
- Record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, and actions taken
- Assist in preparing correspondence to be sent to clients
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Work with doctors and nurses to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain records of debtors and make follow-up calls to ensure timely payments
- Keep abreast of developments in customer service practices
- Perform any other duties assigned by your Manager and Medical Director
Required Qualifications
- Minimum OND qualification
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Residence in proximity to Lekki (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare sector or hospital environment
