About the Role
Virginrose Resorts is seeking a professional Receptionist with a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations at our front desk.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Answer inquiries from guests about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
- Register guests and collect necessary information such as contact details and dates of stay
- Ensure all guest information is accurate and up to date
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and ready for guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized
Requirements
- Degree in hotel management or related field
- Minimum two years of work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent or Receptionist
- Experience with hotel reservations software (experience with Biodux is a plus)
- Strong customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
