Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Reader in Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Biotechnology.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Biotechnology or related area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching experience at the university level
• Minimum of two (2) postgraduate students supervised
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Two (2) favorable external assessments

Research & Publications

• Minimum of sixty (60) points from research publications
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Visible on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)

Academic Leadership & Service

• Minimum of four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Minimum of three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
