Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting a Reader in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Faculty of Agriculture.

Salary Grade

CONUASS 6

Key Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/library experience at the University level
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Two (2) Favourable External Assessments

Academic and Research Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) postgraduate students supervised
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of sixty (60) points from research publications
• At least four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Google Scholar profile or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)

Professional Performance Metrics

• Minimum of four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Minimum of three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Additional Information

Academic Librarians are expected to participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science where applicable.
