Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
• Maintain and improve automated testing frameworks
• Provide clear and concise feedback on product quality and usability
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
