Project Manager(Building Construction)

About the Role

O'Spaces Nigeria Limited seeks an experienced and skilled Building Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate building construction projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans and schedules
• Coordinate and manage project teams, including contractors and suppliers
• Resolve technical issues on site and escalate when necessary
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
• Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans
• Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and quality
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality and client requirements
• Manage project close-out, including final inspections and handovers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction project management
• At least 10 years of experience as a site manager
• Proven track record of successfully delivering building construction projects, including 3 high-rise buildings

Required Skills

• Experience in site supervision of construction works
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to architecture and construction
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
