Project In-Charge Manager

Position Overview

PG Consulting Limited is expanding its team and seeking a qualified and experienced Project In-Charge Manager to oversee operations at our Ajaokuta Plant. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

The role requires you to work closely with project teams, managing day-to-day activities and ensuring proper coordination between project managers and contractors. You will act as a liaison to streamline processes and ensure alignment with project goals, while collaborating with subject matter experts and production teams to deliver operational excellence and client value.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project activities and ensure proper coordination between project managers and contractors
• Act as a liaison to streamline processes and ensure alignment with project goals
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and production teams to ensure the project site runs smoothly while delivering value to the client
• Provide on-site support to project teams during planning and execution phases
• Supervise and arrange resources, plan material storage requirements, and track materials from storage location to project site
• Prepare and execute project schedules
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for RFQs
• Ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to the project manager
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), monthly progress reports, and update project milestones
• Participate in project review meetings
