  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Accountant located in Akure.
  • The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions related to real estate projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • They will oversee project accounting, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and work closely with project teams to ensure financial goals are met.
  • The role also involves monitoring expenses, reconciling accounts, and contributing to overall financial strategy and performance.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, project budgeting, and cost analysis
  • Strong skills in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
  • Proficiency in project management tools and financial systems
  • Knowledge of real estate or construction accounting is advantageous
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA are a plus
  • Resident in Akure or willing to relocate
