## Title: Professor of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry

About the Position

State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professor in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. Degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Minimum of twenty-five (25) published scientific journal articles
At least six (6) journal articles published in impact factor-rated journals
Successful supervision of a minimum of one (1) Ph.D. student and three (3) Master's students, OR at least five (5) Master's degree students
Minimum three (3) years of experience as an Associate Professor (Reader), OR minimum five (5) years as a Senior Lecturer at a recognized degree-awarding institution
