## Title: Professor of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti as a Professor in Medical Microbiology & Parasitology.

Key Requirements

Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in Medical Microbiology & Parasitology or related specialization
Minimum of nine (9) years of teaching experience at university level
Minimum of five (5) points from postgraduate student supervision
Five (5) points in Academic Leadership and Administrative Responsibilities
Three (3) points in Community Service
Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Research and Publications

Considerable research background with minimum admissible publications totaling not less than seventy-five (75) points
Minimum of fifteen (15) publications
Minimum of five (5) papers indexed in Scopus
Visible profile on Google Scholar with minimum citation count of thirty (30)
Two (2) Favorable External Assessments

Professional Requirements

Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies

Compensation

Salary Grade: CONUASS 7
