Requirements

Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Biochemistry or related area of specialization
Minimum of nine (9) years of teaching experience at University level
Minimum of five (5) points from postgraduate student supervision
Considerable research background with minimum of seventy-five (75) points from admissible publications
Minimum of five (5) points in Academic Leadership and Administrative Responsibilities
Minimum of three (3) points in Community Service
Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
Two (2) Favourable External Assessments

Academic Credentials & Impact

Current member in good standing of relevant professional body/bodies
Visible profile on Google Scholar with minimum citation count of thirty (30)
Minimum of fifteen (15) published papers
Minimum of five (5) papers indexed in Scopus

Additional Information

Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision within the Department of Library Science as applicable to the role.
