## Title: Professor of Internal Medicine

About the Position

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within the Department of Internal Medicine at the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS).

Qualifications

Ph.D. Degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or equivalent in a relevant field
Minimum of twenty-five (25) published scientific journal articles
At least six (6) journal articles published in impact factor-rated journals
Successful supervision of a minimum of one (1) Ph.D. student and three (3) Master's students, or at least five (5) Master's degree students
Minimum three (3) years of experience as an Associate Professor (Reader) or at least five (5) years as a Senior Lecturer at a recognized degree-awarding institution
