Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Carpenter with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience to handle complex carpentry projects and supervise a small team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and leadership ability to ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute advanced carpentry works including furniture construction, fittings, installations, and finishing
• Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate a small team of junior carpenters and artisans
• Ensure all works meet safety, quality, and design standards
• Manage materials efficiently and minimize waste
• Collaborate with other technical teams to meet project timelines
• Perform routine inspections and repairs as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of proven carpentry experience, preferably in residential, commercial, or furniture projects
• Trade Test Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Excellent technical knowledge of woodwork, joinery, and finishing
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Lagos
