Position Overview
We are seeking a Procurement and Operations Support Officer to support day-to-day purchasing activities and branch operations. The ideal candidate should be organised, demonstrate strong follow-up capabilities, and be comfortable collaborating with suppliers, warehouse staff, and branch teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for required items and services
- Support preparation of purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors until items are delivered
- Maintain proper records of all procurement documents including requests, quotations, POs, invoices, and receipts
- Work with the warehouse and inventory team to verify that delivered items match what was ordered
- Monitor stock levels of common items such as packaging materials and office supplies, and alert management when re-ordering is needed
- Assist with stock counts, simple reconciliations, and basic reporting
- Provide general operations support to the branch when procurement work is light
Requirements
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, store/warehouse support, administration, or operations (logistics or FMCG experience is an advantage)
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with different teams including warehouse, accounts, branches, and vendors
- Must be willing to work fully on-site
