Procurement Officer (Construction & Real Estate) at DreamCity Properties

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Procurement Officer with a minimum of 5 years of specific experience in the construction and real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials, equipment, and services essential for our diverse projects.

You will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain, mitigating risks, and contributing to the overall profitability and success of our developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for multiple construction projects, including apartments, mixed-use buildings, and engineering infrastructure
• Source, evaluate, select, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure the most favorable terms for pricing, quality, and delivery
• Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and tender documents in line with project specifications
• Manage the entire purchase order process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and project budgets
• Conduct thorough market research and supplier vetting to identify new vendors and ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain for construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, MEP systems)
• Implement robust cost-saving strategies and value engineering initiatives without compromising on quality or safety standards
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Collaborate closely with the project management, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and financial constraints
• Monitor and report on supplier performance, inventory levels, and procurement KPIs to management
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
