Process Safety (Engineer) Trainer at Rated Cranes and Scaffold Ltd

Position Summary

We are hiring a Process Safety Engineer Trainer for our training facility at Orofun Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. This role requires practical technical knowledge of gas testing, process safety, confined space operations, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and machine guarding in industrial settings including tank farms, FPSO vessels, manholes, and electrical power plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training to clients on Process Safety Management, LOTO, Confined Space, and Permit to Work (PTW)
• Implement and maintain Process Safety Management systems in line with OSHA 1910.119 and API RP 754 standards
• Lead training sessions on hazard and operability studies, what-if analysis, and job hazard analysis
• Manage LOTO, Confined Space Entry (CSE), Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, and PTW scope of work
• Manage Gas Testing Simulator Training at clients' facilities

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Science or Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process safety, chemical plants, vessels, or oil and gas industries
• Current HSE certification such as OPITO, NEBOSH, STCW, or Marine Certification
• Gas Tester, Confined Space Attendant, or Fire Watch certification (advantageous)

Important Requirements

Compensation

300,000 Net per month plus potential monthly site bonuses
