About the Role

The Pharmacy Trainee will assist the community pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and customer service. This role provides hands-on experience in prescription handling, patient counseling, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications accurately under supervision
• Support prescription verification and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Provide basic patient counseling on medication use and storage
• Maintain inventory control, including stock checks and expiry monitoring
• Help in record-keeping and documentation for prescriptions and controlled drugs
• Ensure customer service excellence by addressing patient inquiries professionally
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
• Participate in health promotion activities within the pharmacy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Pharmacy (or currently enrolled in a pharmacy program)
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug classifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
