Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Receive and confirm prescription orders from patients or healthcare providers
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders, and removing expired drugs
• Provide information to patients on proper medication usage when delegated by the pharmacist
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety procedures
• Assist in the billing and processing of prescriptions and medical insurance claims

Requirements

• Minimum of a Pharmacy Technician certification or OND in related fields
• Valid certification or license as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous work experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

N120,000 per month
