Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Maintain stock levels, order pharmaceutical supplies, and ensure proper storage according to temperature and security requirements
• Assist pharmacists in compounding, labeling, and patient education
• Update records in the pharmacy system and handle insurance claims where needed
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or Pharmacy Assistant certification
• Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosage forms, and regulations
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and communication skills
