Job Summary

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated pharmacist to join their team. The role encompasses dispensing medicines and nutritional supplements, counselling on medicine use, disease management and preventive methods, supervising healthcare assistants, and creating awareness of pharmacy products and services in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and dispense drugs accurately in accordance with professional laws and ethics
• Monitor stock levels, compile and communicate out-of-stock lists to appropriate handlers, and ensure stock rotation using the FIFO principle
• Verify supplied goods for authenticity, quality, integrity, and expiry dates
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to liaise with the Procurement Manager/Warehouse Manager for efficient drug supply
• Maintain up-to-date customer database, chronic care medication patient list, and knowledge of regular customers
• Process and follow up on special orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Support the Branch Manager in organizing and coordinating branch activities, including cash and stock handling

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Pharm/Pharm D degree
• Valid PCN License and NYSC Discharge Certificate
• Passion for patient care and commitment to service excellence
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, professional retail setting

Shift Structure

• Day: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Weekend: 22 hours total (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
• Night: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM (with premium pay)
