About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a skilled Personnel Manager to join our plastic manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for all human resources functions, from recruitment through employee relations and performance management, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire recruitment process, including creating job listings, interviewing candidates, and overseeing on-boarding and new hire paperwork
• Act as a mediator and point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and other issues, bridging communication between employees and management
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs to improve employee skills and productivity
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives
• Ensure all HR activities comply with labor laws and company policies, with particular emphasis on health and safety protocols and risk assessments in a manufacturing setting
• Oversee the payroll process and assist employees with benefits, time off requests, and other administrative matters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in HR or personnel management
• Specific knowledge of the plastics manufacturing industry
• Certifications in production management (preferred)

Compensation

Salary: ₦350,000 - ₦500,000
