About the Role

Stardom Foods and Beverages Limited is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates who are passionate about pastry arts and committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, and baked goods, including cakes, tortes, cookies, and breads
• Develop and implement new recipes and menus to keep pastry offerings fresh and exciting
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all pastry items
• Manage pastry kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring that all pastry items are prepared and stored safely
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts
• 3+ years of professional experience in pastry arts, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
• Strong pastry skills, including cake decorating, sugar work, and bread baking
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation
• Knowledge of other cooking skills is an added advantage

Compensation

N250,000 per month
