Paint Production Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Paint Production Manager to oversee all factory operations at our paint manufacturing facility. You will ensure efficient production, quality control, cost management, regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily paint production operations including emulsion, texcote, satin, gloss, and specialty coatings
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and formulations
• Supervise production planning and meet output targets
• Monitor raw material usage, wastage control, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage production staff, supervisors, and coordinate shift schedules
• Coordinate maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
• Implement cost-control and efficiency improvement strategies
• Work closely with Sales and R&D teams to improve product quality and innovation
• Prepare and submit operational reports to management
• Ensure factory cleanliness, discipline, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Degree or relevant qualification in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Production Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a paint manufacturing company
• Strong technical knowledge of paint production processes and formulations
• Proven experience managing factory operations and production teams
• Solid understanding of quality control systems in paint production
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Good reporting and organizational skills

Preferred Qualities

• Experience setting up or optimizing paint production lines
• Strong knowledge of raw materials used in paint manufacturing
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and accountability
