## Title: Operations & Marketing Manager – Event Centre

Role Overview

The Operations & Marketing Manager will oversee daily operations at The Meeting Point Event Centre, which features two 500-seat halls and an outdoor lounge. You will ensure smooth event execution, maintain facility standards, and drive business growth through enhanced online presence and vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event bookings, schedules, vendors, customer service, and administrative records
  • Supervise staff and ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and event-ready at all times
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and manage equipment and utility operations
  • Manage social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business; develop and execute content and promotional strategies
  • Build and maintain vendor partnerships to support operations and drive hall bookings
  • Track performance metrics and deliver weekly performance reports to ownership

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in event management, hospitality, facility management, or social media marketing
  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong reliability and attention to detail
  • Solid working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business platforms
  • Must be based in Asaba or willing to relocate

Compensation & Growth

  • Monthly salary: ₦180,000 plus performance bonuses based on hall bookings and events
