Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) Lead Nurse

Position Overview

Lily Hospitals Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) Lead Nurse to provide clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality maternal and reproductive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff in the O&G unit
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and infection control practices
• Coordinate antenatal, labour, delivery, postnatal, and gynaecological care services
• Monitor patient care plans and ensure quality service delivery
• Support obstetric emergencies and operate relevant medical equipment
• Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Registered Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) with valid practicing license
• B.NSc or relevant qualification (Post-basic Midwifery required)
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with leadership experience in O&G
• Strong knowledge of maternal and neonatal care protocols
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure clinical situations
