Nigerian Content and Development Coordinator at MG Vowgas Group

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a strategically and compliance-focused Nigerian Content Development (NCD) professional to lead local content strategy and initiatives in alignment with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act and NCDMB regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local content strategies that maximize Nigerian workforce, goods, and services
• Ensure full compliance with NCDMB regulations and submit timely compliance reports
• Build and nurture relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders
• Lead training and employment programs to boost Nigerian talent in the sector
• Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory engagements

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a compliance or local content role, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry or other regulated industries in Nigeria

Regulatory Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act
• Experience working with NCDMB or similar regulatory bodies

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of project management software and data reporting tools (preferred)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to drive compliance across diverse teams and projects
