About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Mixologist to join Woodgate Structure Limited in Lagos. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating, preparing, and serving cocktails and other beverages with a strong emphasis on crafting unique drinks and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create unique, high-quality cocktails, including signature drinks and classic cocktails
• Prepare alcohol cocktails, other alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages for bar, restaurant, and banquet guests
• Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
• Manage bar inventory and order supplies as needed
• Collect payments and ensure patrons are of legal drinking age
• Collaborate with servers and other staff members to ensure seamless operations
• Train and oversee other bartenders or bar staff on drink preparation and service standards

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, ingredients, flavor combinations, and advanced mixing techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent customer service abilities
• Demonstrated creativity in developing new and innovative cocktail recipes and presentations
• Physical dexterity for drink preparation, ability to lift weights, and flexibility for various shifts
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards for taste and presentation
• Knowledge of beverages regulations and legal requirements
