Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the ordering of all beer, wine, spirits, and bar tools and equipment
• Maintain full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, costing, and preparation methods
• Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality
• Draft beer menu in coordination with Brewpub Brewery staff
• Ensure appropriate stock and par levels of all bar items are constantly maintained
• Utilize appropriate stemware and glassware according to company standards, polish glassware, and stock bar supplies to par levels
• Create and push the limits of mixed drink possibilities
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of alcohol and alcohol history
• Use expert knowledge to create innovative drinks and cocktails that explore flavor boundaries
• Show passion for experimenting with and developing new drinks

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or equivalent with formal bartending training
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star hospitality experience
• Knowledge of wines and spirits
• Desire and ability to train and develop staff
• Awareness of industry trends in service, product, and presentation
