Microwave Technical Engineer at Connig Technoserve

About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a skilled Microwave Technical Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you will apply engineering principles to solve complex problems within the microwave communication field, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong telecommunication knowledge with emphasis on Huawei microwave networks
• Perform RTN IDU commissioning and deployment
• Conduct NCE and RTN software upgrades and troubleshooting
• Execute maintenance procedures, data configuration, and commissioning of telecom systems
• Perform troubleshooting and ATP testing under guidance and independently
• Summarize and explain troubleshooting cases to support knowledge sharing
• Design and configure OM, Clock, and Signaling networks based on IP transmission principles
• Participate in required training and successfully complete all relevant examinations
• Provide 24/7 remote support standby as required
• Travel for extended periods as needed for project delivery and on-site support
• Share experiences and lessons learned with the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecommunications or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in microwave systems
• Minimum 1 year of delivery experience with microwave network projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Huawei, Ericsson, and NSN products
• Basic knowledge of microwave architecture, interfaces, and protocols
• Familiarity with RTN commissioning procedures and ATP testing
• Understanding of IP transmission principles and network design
