About the Role
International Energy Services Limited (IESL) is seeking a qualified Methods Engineer to join our Procurement & Supply Chain (C&P) Division in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is critical to supporting our expanding supply chain operations and ensuring effective management of our tools, systems, and processes.
Service Scope
- Support a division of more than 105 staff members
- Support approximately 420 UNISUP users across the supply chain module (MM)
- Produce at least 30 Affiliate Monthly KPIs in addition to weekly and monthly divisional reporting
- Coordinate up to 20 internal and external audits and controls annually in conjunction with cross-functional teams and headquarters
- Manage multiple C&P business tools including UNISUP, Excel, ARIBA, NIPEX, and Power Point
- Create and update approximately 7 work instructions annually
Training & Development Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP training (150 man-hours annually)
- Deliver e-sourcing tool training (200 man-hours annually) to more than 90 vendors
- Provide general tool support (100 man-hours annually)
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all H3SEQ rules and company health, safety, security, and environmental (H3SE) policies, procedures, and applicable legislation
- Take necessary measures to avert immediate threats of danger and prevent harm to personnel, installations, or the environment
- Actively participate in H3SE meetings, training sessions, drills, and plans
- Provide frontline support for Supply Chain tools and systems via a functional hotline
- Identify and resolve various problems and issues related to C&P tool usage
- Create and maintain an updated contact list of users in relevant departments
- Recommend regular revisions to user manuals, procedures, and work instructions for Supply Chain tools
- Coordinate training and support for external suppliers on e-sourcing and NIPEX platforms
- Identify and escalate Requests for Assistance (such as MTKs) for incidents or challenges requiring support from CC-SAP or other external resources
- Test and validate new solutions and upgrades to Supply Chain tools under the supervision of the Performance & Tools Manager
