Main Responsibilities

Program Implementation

• Ensure implementation of the program in Ministry of Health (MoH) facilities
• Respect grant guidelines and budget lines for activities
• Collaborate with Program Manager to develop the work plan and activity schedule
• Ensure respect of deadlines and report to Program Manager in case of delays
• Supervise sub-grantee and partners' activities
• Provide technical and operational support to MoH clinic staff
• Ensure compliance with national health protocols and guidelines

Health Systems Strengthening

• Collaborate with MoH to strengthen health systems, focusing on capacity building and sustainable practices
• Develop strategy to improve the quality of health delivery in MoH clinics
• Implement bimonthly follow-up of action plans with MDM officer and facility manager to improve quality of health services

MoH Facility Support

• Ensure support to MoH clinics in line with grant requirements, including rehabilitation, equipment, assets, supplies, and drugs
• Improve service quality by providing capacity building and training across departments (PHC, SRH, GBV, MHPSS, etc.)
• Define capacity building plan with facility manager (formal trainings, on-the-job training, mentorship)
• Ensure training modules and Terms of Reference are reviewed by technical team and align with National guidelines
• Respect budget lines for training activities

Community Accountability and Coordination

• Support facility accountability to the community by ensuring close relationships with community leaders, Water and Development Committees (WDC), and Community Health Volunteers (CHIPS)
• Develop and facilitate regular meetings with partners under facility manager responsibility
• Develop feedback mechanisms with Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Department, WDC, and facility manager
• Coordinate with other actors, including UN agencies, INGOs, and government entities intervening in MoH clinics
